Ilia State Literary Club is a project, which seeks to popularize literatures within and without the bounds of the university. The club meets every Thursday at 19:00, with university professors, invited writers, poets, translators and literary critics.

Guests usually deliver a public lecture and offer innovative ways to consider specific works of literature.  The club also hosts presentations of recently released books. Attendance is open and free to the public.
